Hmmm... the GT is finally over and there is only a slight protest at BK during the 4th day of the trip ... pplz wearing yellow head band and t shirt suddenly flooded the street outside MBK as well as the 1st floor as i n sl was strolling at lvl 1...now the news reported tat they are going to protest at tourist attractions for the next 3 days..especially at SIAM PARAGON !!! and the shopping centre will be closed for the day as frm tomolo according to the news... * are we lucky tat we missed tat? a blessing in disguise but some1 will be worried abt his love one working at there ya...Winkz
Oki... the 1st day ate breakfast at Mac inside the terminal... took a long time as the staff was explaining to the man in front as he did not bring his ez-link card with him and he wanted to earn his points ... told by the staff tat he was able to redeem thru sms and the explaination goes on for abt 5-7mins? and me n by were stilling Quening while others had already ordered their breakfast... the supervisor look at both of us as the staff explained to tat bloody man in front of ME!!! and it takes ages sia...nvm abt tat as the staff was been told off by the supervisor and told her to see the situation 1st b4 explaining ... and i was like tsking to the man in front of me and hai-ing behind him... juz 4get when u forget to bring or jus take the receipt and look behind u sia... bloody man!!! *frustrated by the staff at Mac as well as the man in front ...* bad sign at BK?
Went to MBK as our 1st shopping trip and we walk there sia...alamak so far n HOT!! ... managed to reach there and our shopping spree began!!! bought a few caps for my Botak Days as well as a sling bag n a backpack which later by also bought frm there but cheaper by me for 10B !!! *kaoz!!!! ...lol
Siam Paragon was like S'pore's!!! and its beautiful... Look so Grand sia... the design was beautiful as stylish..even the elvators were transparent and surrouded by water theme inside as well as outside...water spraying ground juz outside the shopping centre juz like those at Bugis but its a straight line and there is pattern and sl offered to take up the challenge to run across it for 500B but later at 200B ... but no pplz wanna to share the cost with me...if not we will see a wet sl!!! *lol
if not for the idea of looking at Ocean Underground, Sl will not found his thai Lover inside the shopping centre... wanna to buy mango and was attracted by the mango at there...talk crap to him and they are clicked... the man pinched seb's arm and asked sl's name and kept staring at him till we have done with the shopping and his LOVE hand sign to SL ...!!! * OMG!!! run for ur life sia...gave me goose bumps...but funni sia...cant stopped laughting... Siam Paragon a place to go!!!
on The 2nd day we had dinner at a Jap resturant..and i had beef dun know wht lar...Sl was drunk on tat dinner...his whole face was red and become a bit agrressive and i was a bit taken a back and stunned by his few actions...not quite like the HE i know...took a cab to Platinum..hopping to buy some whole sale nice t shirt but the whole shopping centre was closed and the time was onli 8:50pm+ ... late by 20 mins ... so sian...took tuk tuk back to hotel ... while waiting for the other 4 to arrive, we waited n no one turns up and we started to worry abt them... to our amazed, they had gone to shopping without telling us as sn had a stomachache and we told them to talk cab back to hotel and meet up as they are already on the way to Platimun... by right, they should have arrived as we hang around a bit at Platimun while calling them using public phone! and den back to hotel...ke! *miscommunication?
on the 3rd day we went to Chatuchak with by's friend whom we met at the same hotel..realli small ya..and sl met his track president at Chatuchak too ... the place is real big ya..can lost inside ya...lol...sl bough a big winnie the pooh at there for S$28? almost half the price compared to Sin...bought quite a lot of clothes as well as slippers at there...tired of the walking as the heat, we wanna to find the exit and go back hotel den to Platinum...met the Ses den called to let the rest know tat we are going back to hotel...me, sl and the Ses took a tuktuk back to hotel... the process was like hell riding to me as 4 pplz to a tuk tuk and the turn was like Woohoo...can fly off sia as i onli manage to sit 1/3 of my Pi pI!! *lol i'm Alive!!!
Had a difficult time to explain to the taxi driver tat we are going to Saulum...luckily we managed to reach there... and took a few pic with Tuktuk but den was approached by the owner tat he wan 20B in order for us to take pic with his Bike!!! *wht The ..... den he joked tat he going to call the police if we did not pay him...we actually took a pic with his Bike when he was away but den the flashed alerted the driver back to the Bike..*not the same person le.. kept asking for money and at the same time he is smiling...dun know he is joking or wht sia..hard to tell frm their expression...den he recommended us to a seafood and told us tat he wan 2B to take us there...but the other grp is at other places looking for us as we stayed put... Had our 1st proper chinese Ze-Cao style..like chomp chomp like tat lar... ordered food with rice den we ate ate...contributed 100B as dinner ... bird nest...fried crabs ... pork ball soup ... egg omelet? ... grilled chicken... Liverpool won on tat day !!! *woohoo!!!
On the 4th day, went to BMK early morning and den off to market with sl as the rest continue their journey to Siam Square? along the way, police stopped passengers frm crossing the bridge as well the road was sealed off ...den a black Mer car with a few black cars n motobikes drive across den the sealed was unlift and everything is back to normal ... a western even asked me wht happened...
took tuk tuk with Sl to Pratunam Complex and off we went to explode the whole street!!! very tired as most of the store dun have boxes for the mango...managed to find a store and the whole mango was been bought by me...24 mangoes juz nice for 3 pplz...lol!!! fate? back to hotel with tuktuk..den come out again...this time we walked back to the same place but we walked back to the hotel with the short cut!!! bough a big bbq squid as well as bbq chicken stick...yummy sia..cheap too!!! like their orange juice sia!!!
finally went to A&W and makan...along the way bought durian...wow sia..their durian so delicious sia...BIG n CHeap...no Ku Rou thought!!! ...*sad
went to Baiyoke Sky hoyel to make pendent at 100B ...den a western dun know english also make one... fel was there to help him ya..so funni...ok..finally ..me..sl..SEs..by n wy make one too...along the way back to hotel, we walk short cut...a lot of dogs ya...back to lobby, sl took some newspaper and told me to press the elvator for him...up he goes..but the grp didnt go n get their key but to go n find street food store to try...alamak sl waiting outside the room ya... some of them suggested to ignore him and let him see newspaper outside the room...run up to 'recuse' him den we both went to search for them...lol...tiring sia...nowhere to find..den hear a Zu! den they are opposide sia...sl suggested to run across the road...OMG!!! he siao le ... lol...so many cars ya .. den they makan...back to hotel..
The Surprise start the moment we went to our room... *video the whole progress ... yeah!...another surprise...Credits to all pplz involved...esp SL !!! and BY's idea !!!
the cake is too big le... if next time got chance, buy smaller one...if GOT chance to go travelling as a grp ya...
